16 Ounce(wt)s pickles sour, drained and rinsed
16 Cloves garlic, fresh thinly sliced
48 Each cloves, whole
1 Cup plus 1 1/2 Tbls sugar, white
Large Jar, plus reserve the original pickle jars to store, if desired
Ball Mason Jars Wide-Mouth Can or Freeze – 16 oz 12pk
Slice pickles into 1-inch chunks.
In a 16-oz jar, layer in some sugar, then garlic, cloves, then some pickles. Repeat, until all ingredients are used, ending with sugar.
Shake well and store in the back of your refrigerator. Shake every day until all the sugar is dissolved. Then shake every couple of days until 30 days have elapsed.
Serve on the side of your favorite sandwich.
